Where are the ceremony and reception located?

Answer

The evening’s events will take place at Hotel Ella, located at 1900 Rio Grande Street, Austin, Texas 78705. We'll begin with our ceremony on the front lawn, followed by cocktail hour in the pool courtyard. From there, we'll gather in the Grand Ballroom for our formal reception, complete with dinner and dancing. Finally, we invite you to join us at the Happily After Party downstairs in the Parlor Bar, where we'll continue celebrating. Late night snacks and the first round is on us.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We politely request that this event be an adults-only affair, except for children in the wedding party. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, our guest list is reserved for those named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding, it means so much to us to have you there as part of this special night.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 20 minutes early to find your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm. To kick things off in style, we’ll have champagne waiting for you upon arrival!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift. If you wish to honor us with a gift, we’ve curated a registry with Williams Sonoma, featuring items from their family of brands, including West Elm, Pottery Barn, and Rejuvenation.

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Answer

Valet parking is available at the venue. We do, however, encourage guests to consider using a ride share so you can relax and enjoy the evening without worrying about driving.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Since our wedding is at Hotel Ella, we recommend staying on‑site for the utmost convenience. We have not reserved a formal room block to ensure you can secure the best possible rate—whether that’s by booking directly with the hotel, using membership discounts, or reserving through a third‑party site. Alternatively, nearby hotels within walking distance include The Otis Hotel, DoubleTree Suites, and the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center.
