Connecting on Hinge, they discovered a shared appreciation for pickleback shots and vodka sodas and found themselves drawn to each other's unique charm. Their first conversation was a whirlwind of shared interests and surprising connections. It turned out that Matt and Rachael had unknowingly been at the same events, mingling with mutual friends, and living parallel lives in the same vibrant social circles. It was a serendipitous revelation that made their connection all the more special. Matt has an irresistible passion for movies and a surprisingly vast collection of Dr. Seuss books. On an early date, he proudly showcased his whimsical collection to Rachael, a school teacher who adores children’s literature. Her eyes lit up with joy, making that moment a cherished memory. Matt also has a deep love for chicken (a culinary passion he’s always eager to share), while Rachael’s love language is quality time. Their dates were filled with meaningful conversations and moments that truly mattered. After a year of dating, their adventures together began to unfold. They moved into a cozy apartment on Madison Ave, where they’ve created a home filled with laughter, love, and Sunday bird. Their travels have taken them to stunning destinations, including Mexico City, Portugal, Barcelona, Greece, and Croatia, each trip deepening their bond and creating unforgettable memories. In the Summer of 2024, Matt proposed to Rachael in Nomahegan Park. This place holds a special place in Matt’s heart, as it is cherished by his family, and it’s also a favorite spot for Rachael when she’s visiting Cranford. The proposal was followed by a celebration with all their friends and families.
