There will be signs, as well as camp staff, along the camp road, directing you where to park, so please follow their instructions. We recommend arriving around 4 pm, if you are staying the night at camp, so that you can find your cabin & get situated before the ceremony starts. If you are not staying at camp, you may arrive later; just be sure to give yourself time to park and walk to the ceremony location (Lloyd's Place). Depending on where you end up parking, it could end up being about a five minute walk to Lloyd's.
"Garden Attire" or "Cocktail" . . . AKA dress to impress, but consider the elements when picking out your shoes and deciding whether or not to bring a jacket. While there is heat in all the buildings at camp, there is no air-conditioning, so please dress appropriately for the elements. You may be walking on grass, so you may want to re-think heels.
The ceremony will take place outdoors at Lloyd's Place Amphitheater in the woods (see "Photos of Facilites" page for pictures), so plan for some mosquitos to be out-and-about. The dinner will be held inside at the Dining Hall and the reception will also take place in the Dining Hall.
Cabins are $30 Cabins include: - A short walk from the party and to the bathrooms - Heat (which mother nature will probably include too) - Foam mattress for comfort?? - A door that closes and keeps out the raccoons - Probably some other friends or family depending on the number of people who sign up for this particular amenity. - Twin-sized bunk beds (What an opportunity to fight for cabin supremacy!) They DO NOT include: - Toiletries (do not worry the bathroom does have toilet paper) - Sheets/blankets/pillows - Airconditioning - A Curfew (What! What!) P.S. If cabins are shared, we will do our very best to group families/friends/acquaintances. We will communicate with you with whom you will be sharing said cabin. If these arrangements do not work we suggest camping or reserving a hotel.
Campsites are $15. There are various campsites around camp's property along with a large open field on which to pitch your tent. We can recommend a few locations depending on your desires. Please note that you are responsible for any materials you deem necessary for a positive camping experience (that includes tents (duh), sleeping bags, pads, etc.).
