Formal, Black-Tie Optional This dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie wedding. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but can still be worn if preferred. If opting for a suit, a formal dark suit, white shirt, and a conservative tie are perfect. For women, the outfit choices are: a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. Please do NOT wear: White Dresses (including white with patterns) or White Dinner Jackets
Please refer to your envelope addressing to check if an additional guest has been allocated to your party. It will appear as "John Smith and Guest" if so. If you lost the envelope, you can look up your party members on the RSVP page. Additionally, you can reach out to the bride or groom if you need assistance or have questions.
Guests are welcome to arrive whenever works for them! We have a welcome reception on Thursday evening, and the wedding celebration on Friday evening. Other than that, there are no other events or commitments guests are expected to attend.
Yes. Peter and Emily have arranged for two 55-seat buses to transport guests to/from Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte. If you miss the bus, or prefer to travel separately, it is also a short taxi ride from the city center. Just be sure to specify the venue's full name, as there are multiple Villa Corsinis in Florence.
The pickup and drop off location is located a 10-minute walk from the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella and an 18-minute walk from the Duomo. Please copy & paste the following adress for the exact location: Lungarno Amerigo Vespucci, 34, 50123 Firenze FI, Italy
Guests are welcome to stay wherever they feel most comfortable. If you are looking for hotel suggestions, our planner has provided a comprehensive list on the Lodging page. In general, we would recommend staying in the city of Florence. It would be easiest to choose somewhere close to the pickup location near the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. Please also consider that Florence is known for its cobblestone streets and may be challenging for guests wearing heels or who have trouble walking long distances.
