We’re getting married

In the voice of David Attenborough. Many, many years ago Ryan and Jess matched on Tinder. Despite talking for a while they never actually went on a date. They’d eventually end up seeing each other at the dirt bike track but by then they were in different relationships. Fast forward to September 2021 when Ryan messaged Jess on facebook wanting to hangout to which she replied “Aren’t you seeing __?” Ryan explained what happened and asked again if Jess would like to go ride the track with him. Jess responded with “sure. I’ll meet you there.” Ryan, hoping this was going to be a date and wanting to drive together, decided to go with it. They met at Whidbey Island MX and rode all day then went to Hops-n-Drops in Smokey Point. Jess paid the tab. This was not a date. They kept in touch off and on through the next few months but did not hang out again until January when Ryan posted on facebook wanting someone to go snowboard Stevens Pass with him. Jess thought about it and figured he had enough time to get over his last relationship and so she responded with “yes. Pick me up in Monroe.” Jess showed off her snowboarding skills that may have been rusty after not having gone in 5 years but it worked on Ryan. He texted her the next day asking “Do you like Mexican food?” What an odd question as who doesn’t? But Jess said yes and Ryan took her to Jalisco in Bothell. Ryan finally got to pay. Within the first few dates Ryan invited Jess to Daytona with his friends for supercross. Was it crazy to agree within the first week of really getting to know someone? Absolutely. But Jessica went anyways. They’ve been inseparable ever since. Ryan ended up making their relationship official on 2/2/22. What a neat date. He then asked her to marry him on 6/9/24.
