Matron of Honor
I met Laura my Freshman year of college through basketball. We are complete opposites, but we tend to balance each other out. We have roomed together the last 3 years and do absolutely everything together. Laura is the most kind hearted person I have ever met. She has the ability to see the positives in every situation. We have an unbelievable amount of memories together over the past 3 years, from attending practices and games, movie nights, half app dates, and late night food runs. She has literally been the sister I never had. It even seems that we share the same closet, as we always wear the same thing before seeing each other. I am beyond grateful for our friendship and know we are no where near the end of making memories together.
Best Man
Where to start.. Joey or David to some has been the biggest role model in my life growing up. I have always looked up to him, as he was just a few years older than me. We grew up doing literally everything together from making up our own football games in our yard, noodling in high school, and sharing the memory of state wrestling. We were brothers, but better yet best friends. I knew I could always rely on him no matter if I needed help, or for him to drive me to McDonalds at age 12. Joe is the type of guy to put others before himself and go out of his way to make others laugh. I am truly lucky to have him as a brother, and learn from him throughout all these years. For he is a role model to this day, and I'm glad to have him as my best man.
Maid of Honor
Mackenzie and I were on the same dance team my Freshmen year of high school. Little did I know, I would be dating her brother the next year. I didn't see Mackenzie often as she was away at college, but when I did I never knew what to say. I was always nervous I would say the wrong thing and step on her toes. Over the years, Kenz and I have gotten closer with trips to the Ozarks, state wrestling, and family gatherings. Better yet, we will soon be sisters. I can't wait to make many more memories together and finally gain a sister.
Groomsman
Jake and I never really hangout much. In high school I grew up watching him play sports, and I admired how hard he would play and how much of a team player he actually was. I never really did expect to marry his sister. Although we never hangout, we get along quite well talking about basketball or beating the girls in pitch most weekends. He's always fun to be around and talk to. I swear luck runs in the Hansen boys blood, as he is always telling me about him winning when he goes gambling. He's a great guy, and I'm happy to have another older brother.
Bridesmaid
Teagen is Riley's younger sister. I have loved getting to know Teagen's spunky self over the years! Throughout my relationship with Riley, we have always ganged up on Riley. No matter what, we always made sure we took each other's side over Riley's. It has been great following Teagen with her volleyball and sewing and seeing all her talent. I can't wait to see what Teagen has yet to accomplish throughout the next couple of years. I can't wait to gain a little sister.
Groomsman
Tate and I met in Jr-High football. I remember wanting to become his friend because in anything he did, he was very competitive just like me. We always wanted to win, no matter if it was playing 2v2 at Timmerman or playing under the Friday night lights together. He had my back and I had his. After high school we went our separate ways, but we stayed in touch by drinking and playing pitch. We typically win during these games too. I'm happy to have him apart of my big day.
Bridesmaid
Katie is one of my best friends from high school. We played sports together and were practically inseparable throughout our high school years. We have had several obstacles throughout our lives, but we are always there for each other no matter what. Katie and I have several memories together, from traveling to football games, going on ice cream dates, driving around to vent, and winning sand volleyball tournaments. Katie has been around, as long as I've been dating Riley. Katie has been a great friend to Riley and I both. I can't wait to make several more memories together over the years.
Groomsman
If you know Brock, you've definitely shared a laughing moment with him. Brock and I met in Jr-high football, which soon sparked a friendship for life. We began to hangout more throughout high school, as he was a huge supporter and brought an ear of corn to every football game for good luck. Not long until college came around, I ended up getting a job with him. After a year of college, we became roommates. We would always mess with each other late at night just to see how far we could get on ones nerves. He's bad at pitch, but he's a great friend that you can rely on. I'm happy to have him as a groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Vicki and I's friendship first started when we both played for the AAU team of the Northeast Nebraska Bullets. We both had no idea who each other were, but that quickly changed. We grew a tight bond the 3 short months we were together. We went shopping, to water parks, and playing in several basketball games together. To this day, we still love to have fun together. Vicki is one of the most hardworking people I have ever met. She works her tail off for the things she wants in life. When Vicki and I see each other, it's as if we saw each other yesterday. Vicki has a spunky and fun personality, so you know that whenever you get together it won't be a disappointment. That's why I know there will be many more memories we can tell our kids about one day.
Groomsman
Matt and I met through Tee-ball at a young age. Before we knew it, we were playing against each other the next couple of years. Finally after several years, we became acquainted on the bench in Tekamah. From there on, we became best friends. We would play basketball together no matter if there was a tornado coming, or it was below zero. You would always find us playing basketball. By the way, I'm ahead in our series bud. It didn't take long, until we realized college was around the corner. We then roomed together for two years, and had a class together. He couldn't keep his eyes open for some reason. To be fair it was a very boring class. Not having him as a roommate is different, but I'm happy to have him as a groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Desi and I first became friends in Kindergarten. Our mom's would pick us up, and we would always have something planned to do after school together. Since then, we have created several more unforgettable memories together. I am almost positive that there is nothing Desi can't do. Desi has been there through some of my life changing moments. The night I got engaged, she was on the other side of the wall. Better yet, Desi will not only be standing by my side on my big day, but she will also be doing my hair. Ever since she started hair school, she has been coloring and fixing my hair. I truly don't know what I would do without her talented hands. I can't wait to make several more memories together throughout the years. Our friendship is one that will last a lifetime.
Groomsman
Jack Black give me a heart attack. You can often hear me rhyming anything to Jacks name. It's always been a fun way to greet a childhood best friend. Jack and I, or (two blonde knuckles heads), as our dads would say, grew up doing everything together. If Jack was doing it, I wanted to. He even got me to go to some actual basketball practices as a kid, and nearly gave my mom a heart attack. We stayed good friends throughout high school and ended up becoming roommates in college. From there on, we've stayed in touch with a drink or two. I'm glad to have Jack as a Groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Allison and I became friends in high school after she joined our school from Beemer. We had lots of good memories and laughs in high school, from driving mains, going shopping, and singing to the Dixie Chicks. It was if we were inseparable. But, college came and we went our separate ways for awhile. Little did we both know, that she would end up living next door to my parents. Life is crazy and people get busy, but we always find time to send a text to each other or even catch up over being iced! LOL She has always been there for me, and I have no doubt that we will have many memories together in the years to come.
Groomsman
Cole and I met throughout a series of years of being on the same T-ball and baseball teams. We've always been great friends and get along by messing with each other. I remember one time we were playing catch in the out field, and he was telling me how if a girl ever says I love you and you don't want to hurt her feelings or say it back you just have to say I love you-tube and they'll never know. It actually works lol. Cole and I stayed good friends all throughout high school from playing sports together to teaming up on Gavin in super smash bros before sand volleyball. Cole is someone who I know will always have my back and help me if I need it. He always wants what's best for anyone and will go out of his way to help people.
Bridesmaid
Mireya has always been the girl that lives down the street from me. Her Dad always has a smile on his face and waves as I drive by. I always knew of Mireya, but our friendship all started when I began to date Riley. Riley and Mireya had been friends since kindergarten. They treated each other, as if they were brother and sister. We quickly became friends, and ended up making a bunch of memories our high school years. She was always willing to go with me to State Wrestling and watch Riley. I seriously can not thank her enough for her friendship to not only Riley, but for welcoming me and treating me with love when Riley and I first started dating. I can't wait to see what the future holds for our friendship! I'm happy you are standing by my side, for not only my sake, but for Riley as well.
Groomsman
Dylan and I go so far back I can't even remember how we met. I just know that the day we met, we were destined to be friends for life. At a young age, I was able to convince him to try wrestling, and once he joined we became brothers. From being childhood practice partners to being mat side at state wrestling, Dj and I were doing it side by side. We would always be there for each other no matter what was at stake. After high school we went our separate ways and stayed in touch. He'll be my brother for life, and I'm happy to have him here on my special day.
