We met in the spring of 2024 when we both began attending Redeemer SCV, a small church plant in Canyon Country. We served together on the setup and tear-down team, and eventually Josh asked Kassidy out in the parking lot after tear-down. On our first date, we talked for hours and truly took time to get to know one another. After about three dates, Kassidy had plans to work in Oahu for the summer. We continued getting to know each other long-distance, and those FaceTime dates became such a sweet time as we talked for hours. On both ends, we felt so much peace about pursuing the relationship further once we were back in the same state. Since coming home that summer, God has been so good and gracious to us, and we are truly excited for this next stage of our lives.
