Beach access is across the road from the BeachWalk Hotel. There are also parking lots in the town of SeaBright if you aren't staying at the BeachWalk.
Sandy HookSandy Hook
Sandy Hook State Park has expansive ocean and bay beaches plus recreational areas for biking, running and walking. For nature lovers, the park also offers extensive salt marshes, a spectacular holly forest and more than 300 species of birds. There is a restaurant called Mule Barn Tavern located inside the park, we'd recommend walking the beach then going to the tavern for lunch.
Manhattan, NY via FerryManhattan, NY via Ferry
We are a 45 minute ferry ride away from NYC. The Seastreak ferry runs from Atlantic Highlands and Highlands terminal to Pier 11 in financial district in Manhattan. The ferry is quick, offers scenic views of the lady liberty and even has a bar! The ferry runs less frequently on the weekends, it may be a little tight timeline wise for Saturday of the wedding but could be a great option for Friday or Sunday.

Red Bank is great for dining and shopping! Broad street will be closed to cars and open to stroll around and pop into some shops or a bar for a cocktail. Broad street is walking distance from the Molly Pitcher Inn

Our favorite for beers and a burger! Barnacles does not take reservations but is perfect for a casual lunch or early dinner. We love to sit out on the Adirondack chairs with a cocktail and enjoy the sailboats!

The Bistro is walking distance from the Molly Pitcher Inn. A delicious BYOB Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Red Bank. Plenty of bars nearby to pop in for a cocktail before or after as well!

One willow is our go to for oysters and cocktails in Highlands. It is finer dining than some of the other water front options but if the weather is nice it is a great vibe!
