Is this wedding actually happening during the pandemic?
Answer
YES! However, it will be a little different than we originally planned. While we will still be asking our wedding party and family to join us in person, many of our friends are being invited to join us remotely via Zoom.

How safe is the venue?

Both our ceremony and reception will be taking place at Waldenwoods. Waldenwoods is nestled among 400 acres of beautiful rolling countryside and overlooking the scenic shores of a private, spring-fed lake. The ceremony site and Cromaine Lodge are separate from any of the other facilities, campgrounds, swimming pool and beaches. What safety measures will be in place during the ceremony?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors. Masks will be provided and seating will allow plenty of space for social distancing.

What safety measures will be in place at the reception?
Answer
In compliance with the Governor's most recent Executive Orders, Waldenwoods has moved our reception outside. The reception will now take place under beautiful tents placed between the ceremony site and the Cromaine Lodge. Instead of the usual banquet seating with tables of eight or ten, restaurant style seating will be set up with smaller tables to accommodate guest living in the same household and those that feel comfortable sitting together. Additionally all food and drink will be served, so there will be no standing in line at a bar or buffet. Masks will be provided. The reception will also be much shorter than originally planned and will not include dancing.

What if I want to come to the ceremony but don't feel comfortable going inside for the reception?
Answer
Waldenwoods has agreed to provide carryout dinners to guests who attend the ceremony but feel unsafe joining us inside for dinner. Please e-mail Christina directly if you want to take advantage of this option at: Christinajohnson0527@gmail.com
