Shohola Falls
"Along Shohola Creek there are numerous cascades, deep holes and steep ledges where water rushes over a final set of falls onto the flatland. See the stunning Shohola Falls as you hike along the 0.6-mile, moderately trafficked loop trail. This short trail parallels the waterfall on a declining rock path and is primarily used for hiking and fishing and is accessible year-round, conditions permitting. Pets are welcome."
Grey Towers National Historic Site
"Milford's Grey Towers is the ancestral home of Gifford Pinchot. Pinchot was a Pennsylvania Governor, conservationist, and first Chief of the US Forest Service. The estate, built on nearly 100 acres, is one of the Forest Service's most significant cultural resources. In 1963, John F. Kennedy dedicated the Pinchot Institute for Conservation Studies as a historic landmark. The mansion and grounds are open to the public for tours and special events. The grounds are open daily for self-guided tours year-round. The mansion is open from Memorial Day Weekend through December each year. Guided tours detail the story of the Pinchot family and the role Grey Towers played in their conservation efforts."
