Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

By June 21st at the latest please.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly request black tie attire, but understand that this is not feasible for everyone. Guests should plan for a very formal event, with an elevated European garden party vibe. Think of bright colors, bold patterns, and pushing your fashion limits. It is impossible to be overdressed for our big day. As a matter of fact, we hope you show up ready to outshine the two of us (in anything but white, of course)! Ladies, this is your time to shine. There is nothing too ostentatious or bold for our event. We hope you come in something absolutely fabulous. We prefer a floor length gown, but understand if you'd prefer something short due to the heat. Whichever you choose, make it loud and make it funky! We will spend time in the garden and recommend a thicker heel for stability and comfort in the grass. Gentlemen, it's time to dress to impress. Wear something worthy of matching that beautiful gal on your arm! Whether that is a full tuxedo or suit and tie is up to you. Please note that jackets and ties are requested, and we'd prefer a dressier trouser to khakis. If you are interested in looking snazzy but don't want to buy, consider renting with a company that specializes in wedding rentals. Check out domestic companies like The Black Tux, or Italian providers like Il Mio Smoking. Companies like these will deliver your rental 10 days prior to the event and require you to ship the rental back within 3 days of the wedding. We are happy to help coordinate delivery to Venissa — reach out if you need help!

Question

Is there a dress code for the boat party?

Answer

Just like the wedding, it is impossible to overdressed. Get as dolled up as you want! Ladies, we recommend dressy casual or cocktail attire. Think of your dream Italian date night outfit and that will be perfect. If you are leaning dressy casual, consider linen pants, classic silhouettes, and quiet luxury. If you are leaning cocktail, this is a great time for shorter dresses or a jumpsuit. We want you to feel effortlessly chic while we enjoy sunset in the lagoon. As a reminder, we will be on a boat, so leave the stilettos at home. Sandals or block heels are encouraged. Gentlemen, we hope you have some fun with this one. Jackets are optional, but collared shirts are encouraged. Sleeves, no sleeves, socks, no socks...the details are up to you. Channel your inner suave-Italian man and generate some romance on this boat!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

At this time, invitations are for those named. If anything changes and you'd like us to take your plus one into consideration, please feel free to let us know. This is a small event, and so our main guest list is for our closest family and friends.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

At this time, this is a kid-free event. We welcome your kiddos to join us for the Welcome Cruise and to spend time in Venice, but hope you understand that the Wedding celebrations will be for adults-only.

Question

Is there transportation to and from Venice to the ceremony?

Answer

As our thank you to you, we will organize private boat transportation to and from Mazzorbo for any guests staying in Venice. But if you miss the boat, you're on your own ;)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

5:00pm please! The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm, but delays can happen with boat travel.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please do! While the menu will be mostly seafood and local veggies, the restaurant is able to take dietary restrictions and requests into consideration for individual plates. You may mark your requests on your RSVP.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do not have a registry and would prefer you to celebrate us with experiences than things. Your presence in Venice is the ultimate gift to us!
