FAQs

Question

Will I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you fly into SAF, it should not be necessary to rent a car for our wedding weekend. The venues (and all of Downtown Santa Fe) will be within walking distance of the Hilton and we have arranged busses to transport everyone to the ceremony and then directly to the reception. The location for Welcome Drinks on Friday evening will be within walking distance of the Hilton/ Downtown Santa Fe and if it's not, we will provide busses to transport everyone there and back. If you fly into ABQ, renting a car will be the easiest way to get to Santa Fe but will not otherwise be necessary once you get to Santa Fe. See details on the Travel Page.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our dress code is Southwestern Semi-Formal! A few tips below. For Women: Dresses that fall at or below the knee, jumpsuits, or stylish separates are all great options. Add a touch of glam with heels or dressy flats. For Men: A suit or dress pants with a blazer, paired with a button-up shirt. (Bolo) ties optional. For Harry Bradford: The full Scottish regalia (including the kilt). You're going to look great!

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows you to relax and enjoy the evening with us. Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are there hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please see the details on the Travel Page.

Question

What are the nearest airports?

Answer

SAF and ABQ! See details on the Travel Page.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible to help us with planning. The final deadline to RSVP is April 1. Thank you for letting us know promptly—we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate if you are welcome to bring a plus-one. Due to space and planning considerations, we kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us directly. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Please...there will be dancing. LOTS of dancing.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We’ve chosen to have an unplugged ceremony so that everyone can be fully present in the moment with us. Don’t worry—our photographer will capture all the special moments, and we’ll be happy to share the photos with you afterward! Thank you for respecting our wishes.

Question

Is transportation provided to/from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will provide transportation to the ceremony and back to the reception venue. If the Welcome Drinks location is not within walking distance of the Hilton/ Downtown Santa Fe, we will provide transportation there and back as well. Please see details on the Schedule Page.

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, both venues have extremely limited parking. Because of this, we will be providing a shuttle to transport guests.

Question

What if I need to update my RSVP?

Answer

Things happen, please contact either Hannah or Ben. ❤️

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! We are so grateful to have everything we need and feel truly lucky to celebrate this special moment with our loved ones. Thank you for being part of our day—it means the world to us!

Question

What can I expect from the weather in Santa Fe?

Answer

September in Northern New Mexico is typically beautiful, with warm days and cool evenings. Daytime temperatures average in the mid-70s to low 80s (°F), while evenings can drop to the mid-40s to 50s. Layers are key—consider bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening. Please note that the ceremony will be outside during the late afternoon, so you'll get to enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. The reception will take place indoors, ensuring a comfortable celebration for all!

Question

Will the elevation really affect me?

Answer

It might! Northern New Mexico sits at over 7,000 feet above sea level, so the higher elevation can surprise you if you’re not used to it. You may feel a little lightheaded, dehydrated, or out of breath, especially if you’re coming from lower altitudes. Keep in mind, alcohol tends to hit harder at higher elevations—so pace yourself and stay hydrated. Trust us, a little extra water and moderation will go a long way.

Question

Can I wear a cowboy hat?

Answer

Yes, New Yorkers, Michiganders, and all non-New Mexicans, cowboy hats are welcome and strongly encouraged! When in the Land of Enchantment, embrace the Southwestern flair.

Question

Are the Ceremony and Reception Indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside.
