Megan and Noah both grew up in Pasadena, Maryland, where they first became friends in middle school gym class. Before long, they were spending a lot of time together between seeing each other at school and hanging out with mutual friends after school. Somewhere along the way, Noah quietly developed a small, innocent crush on Megan.
After a few years of unrequited middle school love, the two eventually went their separate ways as they attended different high schools and later different colleges. They lost touch for a few years, especially when Megan moved to Florida for college.
After college, Megan moved back home to Maryland, where she and Noah quickly reconnected through mutual friends. It didn’t take long for them to pick up right where they left off, spending more and more time together. Before long, they both admitted that they had feelings for one another. The two decided to go on their first official date to Primo's Pasta Kitchen.
After a few months of casual dating, Megan invited Noah to join her on a family vacation. During that trip, while lying on the beach, they decided to make things official. From then on, Megan and Noah spent the next five years traveling, cooking, trying new places to eat, and doing the things they loved most together. Along the way, they also decided to take the next big step and move in together.
After five amazing years together, Noah knew he was ready to spend the rest of his life with Megan. He secretly had Megan’s dream ring designed and brought it along on their trip to Bar Harbor, Maine, waiting for the perfect moment to propose. On their third morning in Maine, Megan and Noah went hiking in Acadia National Park. Along the trail, Noah found a quiet, intimate spot on a cliff overlooking the ocean. There, he got down on one knee and asked, “Will you marry me?” Megan said yes!
