A mutual agreement Part 1.

Who knew? It was her laugh, and hair, and everything

Life has a funny way of bringing two people together. We had both been back from our missions, me for more than half a year and her working on almost two years. We both had a goal to find an eternal companion, yet the experiences of late had led us to feel a little frustrated, confused, and downright depressed. She had been dating a few guys, some cute, some creepy, some we are okay with not talking because that's how weird they were. Like who meets up to have a date at church? Anyway, she had this app called Mutual. it's a safe way for mainly members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to meet up and go from there. Call it using one of your resources as a missionary. I had gone through my own ups and downs and was looking to have some fun; get to know some people and enjoy my bachelorhood per say. I found the mutual app and thought, "Hey, why not. It will be casual and fun! I've never really did this thing so it'll be new." I downloaded that app and talked to a few girls, but really no development from it. Some girls I thought would talk to me didn't, and some did that I don't know why I swiped up on. The lovely Julia continued on her journey until she found a photo that glowed with beauty and majestic glory. It was a picture of her niece Ella. If you haven't met her she's super cute!!!! *Cough* As the fair maiden was looking on mutual she found a young lad and thought, why not. To her surprise she matched with the lad who began to talk to her and ask all the silly and different questions that previous duds had failed to intrigue her with. After having met they moved forward to go on a date the next day. Alas the lad would love to say that they talked all night, yet the woman responded every other hour or so and continued like this until the date. They went to scouting event for his little brother and then journeyed to Fat Cats where they faced off in mini golfing. Later they then sought Bahama Bucks ice Cream. Read on to part two to see what happens

A Mutual Agreement Part 2.

From Dates to dating to Adventures

So I literally ran out at the last character on the 2000 character limit that these stories have so bear with me. Its a good one, truly. During our adventures in Bahama bucks we played connect four, though many of the pieces were missing. We played about four turns each before we were using our minds to determine where we would play, yet that did not work out after two turns. We headed back to our car and jammed out to some music, from cool rock songs, to Disney, to anything duet wise that we could sing together. He fell for her smile and laugh, charmed by her personality and she fell for his oofy goofy looks and different character compared to the other dates that she had been on. He took her home (BEFORE MIDNIGHT) and they continued to talk on the next day. Later she noted that it was the first date where she had wanted to stay and didn't want to go home. He had to agree to that, simply that it was his first date since being back from his mission (it's complicated *Silent tear*). They continued to date and rather quickly felt that it was a sparking chemistry leading to a newly formed pair. After only one month of dating they set out to San Diego for a temple trip as the Gilbert temple was closed for maintenance. one that adventure Julia realized that she truly cared for this young lad and wished to marry him, the thought scaring her as it was a new journey, yet she pulled through with faith. They went home happy and having grown stronger through trials little by little. She skidded around a corner in his car but claims it was the only time, she'll also come thwack me besides the head once she gets to this part, claiming it was foggy, yet I like to be a small tease to her. As the months carried on there was some challenges that the couple faced in regards to the seriousness of the relationship, yet after much reflection the young lad surprised the lady with his determination to go forward with marriage. And that would bring us to Part 3 of our mutual agreement

A Mutual Agreement Part 3.

Mawwiage for etewnity

Once again I nailed it perfectly on the 2000 character limit. It feels good to know you made the cut perfectly. Charlie my cat is a fiewce pwedator and is chirping at birds as I write. Onto adventure three if I may say so. As the months went by we neared Valentines day, a day of love and bonding. We spent this time in Rexburg, Idaho. There was so much snow that it blew my mind, years of having lived in absence of it. I was so throughly entertained by it that I ate it! Literally a block of snow. We had a double date with some friends and made homemade syrup and snow cones. Ate lots of food, occasional nap, homework, and so much more together. We talked some more about where we were at and can we testify of companionship inventory and its ability to bring a couple closer! -Julia is as her mother says a jubilant selfless serving woman who has blessed me and taught me to be more diligent and courageous in my decisions. We had the time of our lives that trip and it was decided that we wanted to live up in Idaho when we got married. Yup, we wanted to be together forever. Yet that took a few months of preparation on the lads part. As he strove to be responsible in his endeavors, purchase the ring, and other related things, the fair maidens family waited and watched in distress as time passed on. Yet not to fear, the lad had his heart set on such a wonderful maiden that time simply was working eventually to his plans. (Except for the fact that there was sickness going around and work brought them both down for a little bit). Eventually though on a beautiful Sunday where there was a slight wind and few clouds he blindfolded her after church and played three games of connect four with her. The First game involved the price of Chocolate, the second earrings, and the third the long awaited proposal. We are excited for you to all join us for our wedding on June 26th, 2019 where we will be sealed forever This is the short/long unedited version of how we meet by Benton Marcum.
