Heritage District
Gilbert's Heritage District includes some of the best restaurants in town including Liberty Market, which started as a grocery store in 1935, Joyride Taco Company, Postino East, Joe's Real BBQ and the Farmhouse Restaurant. Downtown Gilbert is the Heritage District.
SanTan Village
This outdoor center offers customers rich and varied activities, with a special blend of restaurants and entertainment. Located right next to the guest hotel, Hyatt Place. Daily 10:00 am to 9:00 pm
Farmers Market
Located in Downtown Gilbert just West of the iconic Water Tower. With over 100 vendors, the Gilbert Farmers Market features some amazing Food Trucks and local eats! Saturdays 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Riparian Preserve
The Riparian Preserve is composed of man-made lakes pumped full of recycled water that attracts more than 200 species of birds with new ones appearing all the time. Daily 5:30 am to 10:00 pm
Observatory
Stargaze at the Gilbert Observatory located at the Riparian Preserve. The 16-inch-diameter telescope features night views of the moon, Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Saturn with its rings. Fridays and Saturdays 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
Gilbert Museum
The Gilbert Historical Museum, operating for 30 years, has nine exhibit rooms with 100-plus years of life in an old schoolroom, the Old West and the city's occupations. Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Regional Park
Gilbert's brand new park features a 17-foot tall iconic playground, a 4,000-square-foot splash pad with 57 interactive water features, and a tot playground. Daily 5:30 am to 10:00 pm
Cosmo Dog Park
The park has three sections: one area for small or timid dogs, one area with agility equipment, and one area with a pond and "beach" that dogs can enjoy. Water hoses are available. Daily 5:30 am to 10:00 pm
