Bentley Briggs entered the world on April 13, 2005, in the heart of Texas, born to Chad and Sara Briggs. His parents chose the name Bentley, drawn from his father's middle name, and the meaning behind it carries deep significance. Rooted in British origins, Bentley means a meadow with bent grass where a path has been made—symbolizing someone who carves a new way forward. From the very beginning, Bentley’s name has spoken to his calling: a pioneer, set apart to lead with purpose. Even before Bentley took his first breath, a prophetic word was spoken over his life: that he would carry a heart like King David—one deeply devoted to God. Throughout his life, that word has been echoed and most recently by Pastor Jakob Barrientos, who affirmed that Bentley not only has a heart tender toward the Lord, but also a unique way of expressing it. Whether leading worship or sharing the Word, Bentley doesn’t follow a script—he follows the Spirit, forging his own path as he walks closely with God. Over the years, Bentley has had the privilege of singing in choirs, leading worship, and serving on various teams across multiple stages. But his greatest joy comes not from the spotlight, but from the quiet moments—just Bentley, his guitar, and Jesus—in the sacred space of his room, where his worship is most intimate and authentic. - Sara Briggs (Bentley’s Mama)
Caelyn was born on June 9th, 2006 in Placerville, Ca to Ryan and Ashley Kelly. Her Gaelic name means “Always Loved”, her middle name was a female version of her father’s name :) Caelyn spent her elementary years in California. But her most prominent years of growing up, and where she considers home is on the island of Maui. Caelyn has always had a special gift for the arts and anything creative. From a young age, she was often found dancing and singing everywhere she went, filling every space with joy. One of her favorite things to do and what brings her peace, is painting. This is where she feels she can fully express her imagination and emotions. She also carries a deep passion for cosmetology, a craft she continues to refine with natural skill. Friends and family often seek her out to cut, style, or braid their hair. Caelyn’s most unique talent is her capacity for compassion and empathy. She loves people and true to her namesake, it seems like people really love her too. Caelyn loves working with children and has served in children’s ministry for the last five years. She has a heart for missions and learning of different cultures/languages. Since a young child she picked up the Spanish language pretty quickly. A recent trip to Colombia, she spent time in prisons, orphanages, working with human trafficking survivors, prostitutes, and many others in need. She comes alive when she can pour her heart out into others and has a desire to pursue a life of giving in this way. - Ashley Kelly (Caelyn’s Mama)
Bentley and Caelyn met while studying at Christ for the Nations (CFNI). Bentley was in his second year and Caelyn was a first year student. Caelyn was leading a Monday evening prayer set when she found herself in need of an extra hand. A friend introduced her to someone gifted musically who was willing to help, and that someone was Bentley. After the set, Caelyn and Bentley officially met, later spending time with a group of friends at Guitar Center, where they shared a few songs together. Over the following months, their friendship grew until Bentley eventually shared his feelings for her. Wanting to be certain it was God’s plan, Caelyn took time to pray and seek His guidance. On January 9th 2025, Bentley asked Caelyn to be his girlfriend in the sweetest way through a song he wrote just for her. On July 28 of this year, Bentley proposed!! Now, the countdown to forever has begun 🧡
