Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No, the events will be held at 2 locations. The ceremony will be held at Kirkbride Hall in Traverse City. The reception will be held at CenterPointe Marina on Grand Traverse Bay in Traverse City. There will be approximately 2 hours in between the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Please use this time to check in to your hotel, explore downtown traverse city, or visit Grand Traverse Bay. The locations are less than 10 minutes driving distance apart. There will not be transportation provided between the events.

Are my children invited?

Answer

We would like for our special day to be an adult-only occasion with the exception being children in the bridal party. We apologize that we are unable to accommodate your children on our special day.

Are there plans for the wedding weekend?

Answer

The bride and groom are choosing to stay in Traverse City for the weekend following the wedding and invite you to stay as well. We plan on celebrating at many of our favorite places with our favorite people. Tentative ideas for the weekend include stops at wineries and cideries around the TC area, a beach day, and a night spent enjoying the nightlife of downtown TC.

Are the bride and groom doing a first look?

Answer

No, the bride and groom will see each other for the first time on their wedding day as the bride is walking down the aisle.
