JT and I first met when he pulled me over for speeding while I was on my way home from USD. Although I was kind of sassy, he was generous enough to only give me a warning. When I got home, I threw away the written warning and did not think much of it. Later that evening, I went over to a friend's house and guess who was there, JT! My friend once again introduced us and the rest is history!
In June 2019, JT came to visit me in Pittsburgh, PA while I was completing my audiology residency. Throughout the week while he was there, JT kept asking me if we could go to the Duquesne Incline. I kept pushing off JT's idea, but finally gave in. When I had arrived home from work that day, JT had cooked me dinner. We then went to the Duquesne Incline and rode the cable car to the top of the lookout. Once we were up at the top, JT convinced me to ask a random couple to take photos of us with the beautiful city of Pittsburgh behind us. As the woman went to give me my phone back, JT asked for just one more picture.
JT and I said "I do" on January 2, 2021 with our bridal party and immediate family present at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Rapid City, SD. We had the most perfect day and cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with all of you!
