I loveee the garden. It has a variety of gardens like rose gardens, succulents, tropical, japanese gardens. And it's so big you could probably spend about 3-4 hours there. Closed: Tuesday Parking: free Fee for place: $25? Closes: I think it was like 4pm, so go earlier.
Iconic beach to go to. You will see the Venice Beach boardwalk and theres a lot of cute shops and souvenir shops there. You can also rent a bike and bike to Santa Monica beach for about 20 minutes one way. Santa Monica has that that ferris wheel that's always shown in movies that feature LA. I think venice beach is more fun than Santa Monica pier.
The observatory is a popular tourist attraction with an excellent view of the Hollywood sign, and an extensive array of space and science-related displays. It has a pretty view of the whole LA cityscape. Closed: Monday Parking: 4 dollars an hour at the parking lot up on top in front of the observatory Eat lunch afterwards at: Alcove Bakery. Its a good bistro place. Address: 1929 Hillhurst Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027
Little Tokyo, also known as Little Tokyo Historic District, is an ethnically Japanese American district in downtown Los Angeles and the heart of the largest Japanese-American population in North America. It has good sushi and cute Japanese shops. Most of the restaurants are open at dinner time only.
Farmer’s market - A favorite destination among locals and tourists, LA's world famous Original Farmers Market offers over 100 gourmet grocers and restaurants. It is all outdoors but all shaded, and the food is good. The Grove - A popular outdoor fashion, shopping, dining and lifestyle destination with the best mix of retail, restaurants and entertainment in Los Angeles. Free 2 hour parking in lot for farmer’s market and I think 1 hr for grove.
You can see the hollywood sign from here. People usually go see the Kodak Theater, and of course look at the stars on the floor.
Sunday ONLY 10am - 4pm A weekly Sunday market for food, shopping, and drinks. All outdoors, so it can get hot, but the food is good! Bring cash but usualy accepts cards
Sunday open-air market features a range of vendors selling antiques, vintage goods & collectibles. They also have a couple food stalls there. It's all outdoors so it can get hot, but theres a good amount of shade too. Sunday ONLY 9am-5pm
Outlet mall that has so many stores. About 1 hours away from LA. Theres another one closer thats about 30 mins away but it doesn't have as many store. That one is called Citadel Outlet Mall.
My favorite mall because it has so many stores and a target. There is the indoor mall called Glendale Galleria, and the outdoor mall is called Americana. To get to the Americana you have to leave the mall by Victoria's Secret and cross the road. You'll see a lot of people crossing.
It's about an hour away from LA. There are two parks.
