Scofflaw is where we had our first date. But, it’s also our favorite bar and the closest bar to our condo. It’s a gin focused cocktail bar that is always on the top of every best cocktail bar in the city and country list. Plus, they give out free warm chocolate chip cookies at midnight.

Our wedding venue, Brique, is located adjacent to one of the most vibrant food and drink scenes in the entire city of Chicago. Still somewhat industrial and gritty, the slew of new sleek restaurant openings has centered around Randolph Street and nearby Fulton Market. The aptly named "Restaurant Row" doesn't discriminate against nightlife either so the selection on these few blocks alone is staggering. You can go from sushi bar to sports bar, bakery to brewery, wine tasting to taquería, butcher shop to champagne salon, late-night diner to futuristic cocktail lounge — all within this stretch. (Address above is not exact, but rather a central location along Randolph St. Please visit the links provided for more information on the neighborhood). The area is easily walkable from the Crowne Plaza Hotel and other recommended hotels.
If you're into the burger and/or bacon scene, this is place for you! Au Cheval's burger has been rated "Best in Chicago" on numerous occasions, and you will not be disappointed. Make sure you arrive early to avoid the crowds. They open at 10:00am Friday and Saturday, and 9:00am on Sunday.
