Are kids invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-only event. If you are traveling to NC with your kids, please reach out to us and we can help make nearby babysitting arrangements for the evening. Kids are welcome to the Welcome Party on Friday; just keep a close eye on them with the open water nearby.

What Should I Wear to the Welcome Party?

Answer

Casual Attire A nice sundress and sandals or some khaki shorts with a polo are two ideas that come to mind. Wear something that makes you look nice without sacrificing comfort. We know most of you will be flying in on this day.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail Attire A suit and tie, mid-length or floor-length cocktail dress, or an elegant jumpsuit are all great options.

When should I book the hotel?

Answer

The hotel room blocks close April 24th. Please be sure to book your room by this date to secure the discounted wedding rate. Payment is not due until check-in. Refer to the "Travel" tab for links to make your reservations. Note that the hotel link automatically defaults to a Thursday-Sunday booking, so adjust as needed if you need fewer days.

What if there is inclement weather?

Nothing will change - our venue has space for the reception and ceremony to both be held indoors.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

You are welcome to drive to the venue, as there is plenty of free parking. If you would prefer, there will be a shuttle available to take you to/from the venue from the hotels. See the "Schedule" tab for shuttle times. If you decide to drive and end up wanting to take the shuttle back, you are welcome to leave your car at the venue overnight.
