Our story began through a mutual friend in September 2015. On November 1, 2015 we went to a Raider game with friends (Jets 20, Raiders 34) and through our love to hate on each others team, the admiration began <3 Our story has been anything but a fairytale but what it has been is two imperfect people navigating through real life situations of love, loss, laughter, tears and learning to love and respect one another through it all. The last six years have taught us both that "Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails" 1 COR 13:4-7

On 3/22/22, we went to Strings Italian Restaurant in Manteca for a late dinner, just the two of us. After we ordered, Benny got up to get napkins and when I turned around to get them from him, he was down on one knee, ring in hand and asked me to marry him. I said yes!

We decided to have a private civil ceremony on June 22, 2022, so that's what we did! We will celebrate with all of our friends and family on July 30, 2022. We can't wait!
