We met through Western Carolina University during the 2020 lockdown, officially starting our journey together on June 16, 2020. Over the next four and a half years, we grew together through every season, eventually leading us back to Pawleys Island, South Carolina—a place that has been a part of my life since before I was even born. On New Year’s Day 2025, we spent a quiet evening wandering through Brookgreen Gardens during the final nights of the "Night of a Thousand Candles." Surrounded by the glow of the Christmas light display, Benny asked me to marry him, turning a childhood favorite spot into the place where our next chapter officially began. We are so excited to step into this new season together and can’t wait to celebrate the start of our marriage with all of our favorite people.
