Cabela's! One of my first days after training, I was roaming around the hunting department getting ready for the store to close and Tyler walked over to me in the duck and goose call aisle.
Tyler got off at 4:00PM and I got off at 5:00PM. The plan was to go trout fishing down at Bloody Run and then go for a cruise around where we hunted deer last year by Waterville, IA. When I got home, we loaded up the truck and head down to Bloody. Tyler and I got our waders on and started walking through the stream and up onto a trail. We went somewhere where I had never been before and it was so beautiful! There was a bluff with crystal blue water. At this point Tyler was already down on one knee (which I never even realized) and was “playing around with the tackle” getting my rod set up. I asked him to give me my phone because I wanted to take a picture of how beautiful the water and bluff were and instead insisted I come over and pick out a lure. I walked over to him and he handed me a tackle box. I picked out a bright pink one and he said “wait, you should use this one, I think it will work better for you.” and pulled out a spinner bait with my ring on it and asked me to marry him!
