Our story began when we were just 18 years old, right after graduating high school. At that time in life, everything felt new and uncertain, but meeting each other quickly became something that felt natural and undeniable. What started as two young people learning their way through life soon grew into a connection that would shape both of our lives in ways we never could have imagined. Not long after we met, Emma left for college. Like many young couples just beginning their journeys into adulthood, the distance and the new experiences ahead of us made things difficult. We were both growing, learning who we were, and trying to figure out where life would take us. Eventually Emma came back home, and life took us on separate paths for a while. During that time, we each went through our own journeys, learning lessons, growing as individuals, and discovering more about who we were meant to become. Those experiences shaped us in ways we couldn’t fully see at the time, but they helped prepare us for what God had in store. Even though life took us in different directions for a time, the connection we shared never truly disappeared. Somehow, through everything, we found our way back to each other. Along the way, we both grew, learned, and became the people we are today, while still holding onto the same full hearts we had when we first fell in love. What we came to realize was that the love we shared had never gone away, it had simply been waiting for the right time. Our story isn’t perfect, but it’s real. It’s a story of growing up, learning, letting go, and finding our way back to the person who always felt like home. Every step of our journey, even the difficult ones, led us right back to each other. Now we’re standing at the beginning of our next chapter, one we get to write together. With everything we’ve been through, we know our love is stronger because of it. And after all the twists and turns that brought us here, one thing has never been clearer: No matter where life took us, we were always meant to find our way back to each other. And now, we can’t wait to spend forever together.
