Our sophomore year at NIU, we were both assigned to the same cluster at the New Hall West dorm. We were best friends until Mark made his move on New Year’s Eve 2017. Living in St. Louis at the time, we were long distance until I moved to Chicago in June 2018 and the rest is history.

Mark carefully planned a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He popped the question like we were part of a rom com. It was perfect!
