What time does the shuttle take guests to the venue?

Answer

All guests must be gathered in the lobby by 4pm for shuttle service to the wedding venue.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

There is a complimentary shuttle provided by the venue to transport guests from Villa La Estancia hotel to and from the wedding.

Can I Uber from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

While there is Uber in Mexico (and it is very cheap), we recommend using a reliable transportation company or booking through the hotel.

Is there a hotel restaurant dress code?

Answer

It is our experience that some hotel restaurants do have dress code policies - typically including dresses or skirts for women and close toed shoes for men. Please pack accordingly!

Is Mexico safe?

Answer

From our experience, Puerto Vallarta has felt very safe. We typically stay on or near the resorts, however there is wonderful culture in downtown areas and Sayulita if you would like to explore.

Do I have to pay with Pesos?

Answer

From our experience, all staff and businesses accept US dollars (and prefer it). We have never converted dollars to pesos. Credit cards are also accepted at most places, but we recommend keeping some cash with you (as tips are highly appreciated there).

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Although we love our younger family members, our ceremony and reception will be adults-only events.

How early should I arrive to the airport?

Answer

Since this is an international flight, we recommend arriving to the airport early (2-3 hours). You will go through customs upon return to your state.
