When and where do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by Thursday, May 15th, 2025. You can RSVP on our wedding website, just click on the RSVP tab and enter your name.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our day is cocktail attire.

Where is your ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will be at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, which is located at 602 Everglade Dr, Madison, WI 53717. Our reception will be at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, which is located at 330 N Orchard St, Madison, WI 53715.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 1:30pm. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before our ceremony begins so no one gets an accidental view of the bride before she walks down the aisle :)

Is there parking at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot right outside of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church so parking will be a breeze for our ceremony. The reception does not have a parking lot, but there are a few places that are within a short walking distance. If you are staying at Union South, parking is included in your stay and is located right across the street from the reception. For guests who are not staying at Union South, please see below for our parking recommendations. 1. Lot 80 (Union South Ramp), located at 1308 W. Dayton Street 2. Lot 20 (University Avenue Ramp), located at 1390 University Avenue 3. Lot 17 (Engineering Drive Ramp), located at 1525 Engineering Drive

What to do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be time between our ceremony and reception, see below for things to do that are on the way to the reception or very close. 1. Grab a drink or a bite to eat at the Memorial Union (our top recommendation and favorite place, the closest parking lot is Lot 6, located at 600 N Park St). 2. Walk around the scenic University of Wisconsin Campus. You could even stop by the Babcock Dairy Store during your adventure for a yummy treat. 3. Stop by Hilldale Mall and pop into some stores or get a snack at one of their many restaurants. 4. More suggestions to come!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know if you or anyone in your party has any food allergies or dietary restrictions. We will notify our caterer and they will make accommodations with your meal selection.

May I bring my kids or a date?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate those listed within the RSVP tab. If you have any questions, please reach out to Lizzie or Bennett.

When is the deadline for reserving a room in the hotel blocks?

Answer

Our room blocks will expire on May 19th. Please plan to reserve your room before then to take advantage of the rates.
