Maid of Honor
She is always there to make sure that if something goes wrong, she was the one to cause it! Just kidding. She is my sister, my best friend, and is actively vomiting at reading these sentiments. I love her, and can't wait to have her by my side. It'll be a change for her from when we used to race as a kid, since she's usually behind me.
Bridesmaid
Kayleigh is my honorary sister, and soon-to-be sister in-law! She is a ton of fun, and is always the life of the party. By this time next year, we'll both be married to brothers, and that in itself is a party. She is also an amazing dog mom, and Milo is one of the bestest boys in the world.
Bridesmaid
Alexa is my cousin, and my ride or die. If I ever needed someone to join me in a real life action movie, I would not want anyone else by my side. She's here to kick butt and chew bubblegum, and she's all out of bubblegum.
Bridesmaid
Morayah, Momo, is the sole reason I made it through high school without the drama! She is the kindest and most genuinely beautiful person inside and out. Momo is incredibly dedicated to her friends, family, and is unreasonably smart to boot. God spared no expense on this one!
Best Man
My best friend throughout my life. When we moved as military kids, I always had a built-in friend even when I was the “new kid.” Austin’s a goofball, a dazzling human, and has the most infectious laugh of anyone on Earth. No other person in my life has been as important to shaping who I am than Austin. I am so grateful that we’ve been close our entire lives. Austin has always been the best man of my life. I’m glad he’s agreed to be next to me in the first step of the next part of my life just as he’s been beside me throughout the rest of my life.
Groomsman
Ethan is one the greatest friends, teachers, and intellects I’ve met in my life. He single-handedly got me through Algebra II and was my rock and roommate during the most stressful years of college. No matter how big the mountain of stress got, I knew I could come home to Ethan and we could talk, goof around, and watch King of the Hill and everything would be alright. He’s been a constant friend even as we’ve been separated by the entire length of the United States.
Groomsman
Dan has been my best friend for over half my life and I fully expect him to keep that title into the future. Dan’s lightning-quick wit, giant heart, and incredible breadth of knowledge and interests have been an inspiration for me since high school. We met because he wore a shirt of a strange cartoon that I loved and the feeling that we’re two perfectly synced weirdos has never gone away. No one but my brother has shaped me and my interests as much as Dan.
Groomsman
I first met Jeff when I helped him move out of St. Vincent College on his last day. A stray comment about prog rock inspired me to keep texting him and we remained friends through bonding over music and bimonthly “Jeff Days.” Jeff has been my companion to over 30 Phish concerts and festivals, I’ve celebrated more New Years with him than my wife-to-be, and he’s the reason I discovered a love and interest in beer. Jeff’s willingness to adventure, his silly sense of humor, and his impeccable sense of taste makes him my most valued fellow traveler.
Groomsman
Outside of Kate and I, Ryan has worked harder in preparation of this marriage than anyone else. During our Sunday night calls to talk about wrestling, Ryan has made me laugh with over 50 suggestions of who should be his “plus one” for the wedding. His dedication to bits and to our friendship amazes me. He’s the most loyal, compassionate, and hilarious man I’ve ever met. He’s many things: the most gifted law librarian on the entire east coast, an old chunk of coal, and, most importantly, my friend.
Groomsman
Zach is someone who I trust enough to literally put my life in his hands every week. Zach is a weekly rock-climbing partner, a relentless board gamer, and great friend. If I hadn’t met Zach when I started at NRL, I likely would have never met Kate as I first met her at a board game day hosted by Zach! Zach is a kind, thoughtful, and brilliant person who I am very grateful to have as a coworker and friend.
