In September of 2023, a few short weeks after Meghan had recently moved to the Windy City, she was on the hunt for the best place in town to watch the Packers' season opener. As fate would have it, she struck out twice on two full-capacity Packer-themed bars, but in the midst of her search, she met some of Ben's great friends. As the weeks went by, Meghan and Ben met through these friends. They got to know each other better on various outings. When late December rolled around, they were pleasantly surprised to have joined the same dodgeball league. Both of their competitive spirits came out as they dodged, dipped, dived, ducked, and dodged. They would spend hours talking after games, and by February of 2024 had gone on their first date. They enjoyed growing their bond and constantly laughing together. A month later, during Ben's birthday week, they became official...and the rest is history. Ben proposed to Meghan on December 20, 2025, at none other than Stinson Park in Omaha. They celebrated with an adventure in Switzerland and Italy over New Year's, but are looking forward to the biggest adventure yet to come. Becoming a family, saying "I Do'' and celebrating with all of you!
