Everyone who is attending has either mine or the grooms phone number (for those who worked with us or our immediate family -- lucky you! you have both our numbers!). So if you have any questions about food (dietary requirements or allergies), drinks (open bar/please remember to drink water), where to stay, what the day is going to look like please don't hesitate to reach out!
While we understand that the invitation says 3pm. The ceremony starts at 4pm and arriving between starting around 3:30pm is best.
Yes, the ceremony and reception is outdoors! We will have heaters and a tent for the reception but not for the ceremony. So, look at the temperature and make a judgement for yourself if you may need a jacket or not!
On our lovely invitations, it asks that you RSVP by Dec 7th. This is so we can start to plan our seating arrangement. We will send out a gentle reminder closer to the time. However for most that are coming in from out of town if you need more time to arrange flights, accommodation and other things that pop up we understand those things! Open communication is the best policy!
We love that you want to capture our special day and would love for you to do so! However during our ceremony we ask that phone are in theatre mode! We have a great photography team that will be taking photos of our ceremony and after! However as we know we have a lot of creative people in our lives, we welcome you to take photos and videos the moment the ceremony is finished and actually encourage it during the ceremony
The venue is it own slightly secluded area and there is tons of parking for anyone that is driving to the venue. The lot is dirt and gravel so keep that in mind! If you plan on drinking, I recommend a ride share option as we don't want to worry about anyone. The venue is off the 215, if you have past Garland Lane you have gone to far!
Yes, there is an open bar but please consume alcohol safely and responsibly. We care about the safety of all of our guests so please make sure you have a sober driver or you have called a ride share. Ourselves and the venue have the right to cut people off so please just be respectful of the day and the company.
No, we want everyone to wear whatever makes them feel fancy and comfortable. Ladies, if that means ditching the heels for converse or vans, we are on board! Fellas, if that means wearing a pair of nice jeans instead of dress pants, we are on board! We want everyone to feel comfortable and be able to party with us!
We're so excited to celebrate our special day with our closest friends and family. Due to our budget, we are unable to accommodate any plus ones. We hope you understand, and we're so grateful to have you a part of our day!
