La Jolla is so beautiful and only 20-25 minutes from downtown San Diego. We love going to the Cove. You can walk along the ocean and see the sea lions, and then go walk around downtown La Jolla and check out some of the stores and restaurants. La Jolla also has some amazing neighborhoods if you want to see some epic houses. It's definitely a must see in San Diego. Our Favorite restaurants in La Jolla are Sushi Nekosan, Puesto, Marisi, Queenstown, and Catania.
Ocean Beach is located 10 minutes from downtown San Diego. OB has a very hippie and earthy esthetic to it. You will find a lot of free spirits here. OB is a great place to walk around and see the shops, go check out hundreds of dogs running around at dog beach, or see an amazing sunset at Sunset Cliffs. Some of our favorite restaurants in the whole world are in Ocean Beach. Cesarina is the best Italian food. They make all their own pasta from scratch, and play the best music. It's hard to get into. So if you want amazing food, make sure to plan ahead and get a reservation on Open Table. Right next door is a taco shop called Tommy's. Tommy's makes their own flour tortillas and they have one of our favorite breakfast tacos in all of San Diego. It is very casual and low key. OB noodle house has great asian fusion cuisine, and peanut butter jamison shots you have to try!
Little Italy is our favorite place to go out in San Diego. It has a more urban and city feel to it. Little Italy is located just a few minutes from our venue. Our favorite restaurants are Cowboy Star and Born and Raised if you're looking for a nice steak dinner. The best Italian is Seneca, and Barbusa. For all around amazing vibes we love Cloak and Petal, El Camino, Kettner Exchange, and Nolita Hall. Ladies if you're needing some cute clothes SD Stroll is one of my favorite boutiques in San Diego.
You must go see a sunset while you're visiting! We love Torrey Pines for a hiking at sunset, Garbage beach at Sunset Cliffs, Windansea Beach, North Pacific Beach (Law Street), and The Glider Port. If you go to the Glider Port and hike along the trail at the top you can see Alicia Key's incredible Razor House.
