Matron of Honor
Beth & Jenn have been friends for 13 years. The two became friends online and continued to nourish their friendship overtime. After Beth had come to visit Jenn twice, Jenn made the trip to England where Beth introduced Jenn to her brother. Beth was truly the catalyst of the relationship, and both are extremely grateful for that. Jenn was Beth's Maid of Honor, and then in turn when Jenn got engaged she knew her her person would be. Jenn is excited to have her best friend by her side on her wedding day, and also know that she's gaining her metaphoric sister as a true sister.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Jenn met through Beth as well, as they are siblings. Their friendship grew through visits, but really flourished when Beth had gotten married and the two spent more time talking. After that, the two became closer, bonding over things as simple as Disney movies to Taylor Swift, & everything in between. Jenn couldn't wait to ask Lauren to be by her side on this special day, knowing that on that day she wouldn't just be gaining a stronger friendship, but a sister.
Honorary Bridesmaid
Heather and Jenn became friends in the 8th grade (2009), when Jenn transferred schools from moving. The two became fast friends, basically living in one another's home as they spent so much time together in the earlier days. They both bonded over playing piano, singing, and being the "outsiders" of the town. Over the years no matter how many times they moved or switched schools, the two kept in contact & made an effort to keep their friendship thriving. From board games, to Christmas Shopping, to attempting to skateboard, Jenn couldn't imagine not having Heather by her side on her special day.
Honorary Bridesmaid
Jess met Jenn through her older sister Heather, and the two became fast friends. Jenn took a very sisterly role to Jess as she was a few years younger, and going through a hard time. They too bonded over music, piano, and their love of shopping (even at a young age). The three truly grew up together, making sure to check in on one another, and really having a sibling relationship that Jenn did not have as she is an only child.
Best Man
Chris and Ben have been in each other's lives longer than they haven't, so this decision was a no brainer. For fifteen years their friendship has been going strong. Chris is the first one to crack a bad joke, annoy Ben, or both if he's really lucky. The two met through the Church, & have continued to grow their friendship throughout the years. Jenn was introduced to Chris in the early stages of their dating, and the three braved the cold night to go to the Christmas Market in Sheffield to by Lego people & go for drinks.
Best Man
Ben & Andy became fast friends when the two began working in pubs together. Together, they built a friendship over long nights at the pub, football, & their winning personalities. Jenn's first real memory with Andy was the same day she met Liam, after a Sheffield United match, & he walked into The Albion cheerily nick-naming Beth "Two Prosecco Beth". The name has stuck since that very day. Ben couldn't wait to ask Andy to be one of his Best Men.
Honor Attendant
These three beautiful children will be apart of Ben & Jenn's special day as Flower Girls & Honorary Groomsman/Usher. As Ben & Jenn's nieces & nephew, the two wanted to make sure the three were included in any way that they could, as they mean so much to them. The two can't wait to have them be part of their Wedding Day, & get to celebrate with them.
Father of the Bride
As the Father of the Bride, Bob has been there for Jenn since day one. He brought her up with a love of comic books, 80's music (music as a whole, but especially 80's), banjos, and food. As a chef, Bob's made a new love language called "overfeeding", so if he cooks for you remember to come to his table with an empty stomach (just ask Ben). He has helped Jenn grow in every aspect, and can't wait to see what this journey has to bring for her.
Mother of the Bride
As Jenn is the only child, Denise has made a vow that after the wedding she will be going into full Queen Victoria fashion & dressing in all black for the rest of time. Jokes aside, Denise & Jenn are extremely close. Between their Pinterest, music, and bad jokes, the two are extremely alike (not just in looks). Denise nourished Jenn's love for reading & writing, & did nothing but love and support her passions. Denise works as a Dietitian for Dialysis and loves her job. She's very excited to travel & see all that England has to offer.
Father of the Groom
As Ben's father, Andy was one of Ben's biggest role models growing up. He instilled a foundation in Ben which truly helped mold him into the man he is today. When Ben was younger, the two traveled on a missions trip to South Africa, which nurtured both Ben's faith & his curiosity for travel. Andy introduced a love of Football into Ben that lives on to this day, (so much so that Ben had asked Jenn to get married at Bramall Lane... to which Jenn declined) & the two go to matches as frequently as possible. Ben feels so grateful to have his Father there to help guide him through this new phase of his life, & knows that he'll always be there on Match Day for a bacon sandwich.
Mother of the Groom
As Ben's mum, Sharron has guided Ben throughout his life, even when she had to do so by pushing him in the pram after school while Beth had to walk. To be fair, he had a busy day! She is the guiding force in a lot of Ben's doings, & he truly appreciates every lesson and ounce of love she has given him. He could go on for days about her Roast Dinners if you let him, & knows that she's always there to lend an ear whenever he needs. Though he fears what his countdown to the wedding will look like on Facebook, he knows how deeply his mum loves him, & he can't wait to celebrate this special day with her.
