In her first semester at Oral Roberts University, Rose signed up to go on a Music Missions trip in the summer. On October 19th, she was introduced to her team and most importantly her team-leader, David. Rose knew in her heart that she had found someone special and David couldn’t help but fall for his white princess while she was singing for the Lord. After completing their mission in Dubai in June 2016, David and Rose were inseperable and the rest is history. In January of 2019, Rose and her sister Grace and David went to New York to visit David’s family and to enjoy the city. Rose planned the outings every day while David and Grace went along with (mostly) whatever she wanted to do. On January 10th, Rose led David and Grace into Central Park to see first the Bethesda Terrace and then onto Bow Bridge. Grace pointed out a small platform in front of the bridge to take a picture. “I noticed a small heart setup with candles and flower petals, but for some reason I just thought maybe someone else had a proposal and then left it. Next I heard music and said ‘where is that coming from?’ Then I looked over and noticed about 100 yards away a large group of Indians, some of which I recognized, trying to hide behind the trees. It then started to click what was happening so I looked at David and he was smilimg so huge and I honestly didn’t hear everything he said at that moment because all I could think was that he finally wanted to marry me and I had never felt more overjoyed in my life!” After she said yes, Rose looked over and saw her parents and brother Mark looking on. David had planned the day perfectly 2 months before and made sure to have almost her entire family come all the way from Arkansas to be with her on the happiest of days. Well done, David!
