Question

Important Info

Answer

No smoking! Our community park is just native grasses and our area is fire-prone. Thank you for helping us take care of it. Park considerately if you drive yourselves. Every road only allows parking on one side of the street, and be careful not to block any driveways. 10PM sharp quiet hours in the neighborhood! Kindly don't holler outside after this time, just come inside the store if you wanna be rowdy.

Question

When’s the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We decided after a lot of thought that a very small ceremony with immediate family - then a big party with all of our loved ones - fit us best. We are getting married on July 9th, so this event will be our wedding reception and celebration!

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

There is none. Dress cute, casual, and comfy! Do not wear heels or nice shoes, the road is unpaved and can be dusty/muddy. We will be hanging outside in the unmanicured park (with shade available) for most of the afternoon. Bring a layer for the evening, temperatures range from about 80 during the day to 50 at night.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! We love your kids. Bring any of their toys or games along too if you'd like. Consider taking them home/to your hotel on the 7pm bus as the bar after-party will be pretty crowded inside, and dark outside by 8:45pm.

Question

Should I wear sunscreen?

Answer

Yes.

Question

How do I prepare to be at 8,300 feet of elevation?

Answer

Drink electrolytes and water, eat food, and get plenty of sleep leading up to the trip. While in Gold Hill, don’t drink alcohol at the same pace you would at sea level. This is not a challenge!
