We’re getting married!

We are non-traditional. We do everything at our own speed and in our own way. We went out one blistery Saturday afternoon in January of 2019. We had one purpose: to get my ring finger sized. Ben, being Ben, mapped out the perfect places to go on Steinway Street in Astoria. After popping in and out of a few stores, Ben suggested that I try some rings on. The "trying" led us to the ring. The ring would be ready during the first week of February. We were going on our very first cruise with his brother Alex and his sister-in-law Bridget in February. I was convinced that Ben would propose on that trip so, I counted down the days. Low and behold, on the evening of the 31st of January, as I struggled to fall asleep, Ben got down on one knee and said, "I know how you hate when I ask questions so, you better marry me!" In true Ben and Sheena fashion, we were officially engaged.
