The wedding ceremony will promptly start at 4pm. We ask that you arrive 20 minutes or so before that time so you can find your way around and get seated. Our ceremony will take place outside (weather permitting), otherwise we will have everything indoors in the reception area.
Only children participating in the wedding ceremony will be in attendance. Please let our celebration be a fun date night for you and your significant other!
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests that are included on your invitation.
Yes! Rockwoods has their own parking lot and also shares a parking lot with the Wyndham Garden Otsego Hotel. Overnight parking IS ALLOWED with no set time you have to pick your car up by the next day, so we ask you to PLEASE get a room at the hotel or have a safe ride home.
We will have a hosted bar of mainly beer and wine with a certain amount going towards cocktails. Once that is capped, please be prepared to purchase whatever drinks you would like after that. Please remember any personal bill/tab you open is your personal responsibility to pay. There will be an ATM on site. Our venue does not serve shots. Our venue reserves the right to cut anyone off that they feel is being over served. There is no outside food or beverage allowed. If you are caught bringing in outside food or beverages the venue has the right to escort you off the property. Please be respectful to all our waitstaff helping us celebrate our big night! Gratuity is always appreciated towards your bartenders :)
Rockwoods is a bar and restaurant in combination with being a venue. Grab a drink or app while waiting around or check out the small town of Otsego before the party starts! You can also check out our "Things To Do" page for our local places we like to visit!
We welcome all our guests to wear cocktail attire. The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors. There will be a small patio with a fire for people wanting to step outside.
We understand you are excited and want to take all the pictures you can to remember the night and we welcome you to do so however please remember we have hired an amazing photographer to capture our special moments so please refrain from taking photos especially with flash during the big moments of the night. We want to look back at those moments and see you smiling and having a great time not holding your phone.
