It was the first day of our freshman year at Washington Park High School in Mr. Madison’s 9-Lab class third period. Benjamin was 100% the class clown and trouble maker. It wasn’t hard to notice him and that’s how we began our friendship.
Benjamin left Park High School sophomore year and attended Case High School. Junior year second semester, Benjamin came back to Park High School and we both had the same English class. Senior year second semester, Reanna needed Art Medals to graduate and Benjamin was the teachers assistant. Long story short, Benjamin completed all of Reanna’s art projects and they became, as they say, fresh out of high school sweethearts. On a Saturday afternoon as Reanna was leaving work, Benjamin called her and told her to hurry home right away. When Reanna walked in, there were candles and rose pedals leading to their room. Benjamin’s daughter, Aurora, handed her a rose and they both asked for her hand in marriage. It’s obvious she couldn’t say anything but yes to that! They’re excited to start the next phase in their lives together and cannot wait to celebrate with you in October!
