This little waterfront town is where we've had some of our best nights together — no plans, no reservations, just walking Beach Boulevard and seeing where the evening takes us. Downtown St. Pete has one of the best bar scenes in Florida — walkable, eclectic, and full of energy. Central Avenue and Beach Drive are the two main strips, and you can easily bounce between spots all night Mandarin Hide, Copper Shaker, Pluma Lounge, Flute & Dram, Tryst Gastro Lounge, Lost & Found, Crafty Squirrel, Cane & Barrel Rooftop
The Pier is the crown jewel of downtown St. Pete and absolutely worth a visit. It stretches out into Tampa Bay with restaurants, bars, and incredible views. You can walk the full length or hop on the free tram. It's a great way to spend a morning or evening — especially around sunset.
Home to the largest collection of Salvador Dalí's work outside of Spain. The building itself is a masterpiece, and the waterfront location makes it a full experience. Allow a couple of hours to take it all in — the augmented reality features throughout the museum are really cool. Open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM (8 PM on Thursdays). Tickets are around $29 for adults.
