What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:15pm. Last chairlift to the summit ceremony at 3:30pm. Mount Sunapee asks that guests arrive early to sign a waiver for the chairlift and to give you plenty of time to ride the chairlift up before the ceremony starts!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is suggested. Please be advised that the ceremony will be at the summit of Mount Sunapee, so wear appropriate footwear for walking on grass. We suggest you bring warm clothing (extra jacket or sweater) as it is sometimes windy and chilly at the top of the mountain.

How will riding the chairlift work?

Answer

For those that are nervous about getting on and off the chairlift, the operators are more than happy to stop and start the chairlift to allow you to get on and off in a way that is comfortable for you. If anyone is concerned or would like additional help riding the chairlift, the Mount Sunapee staff is available to help in many different ways!

Is transportation available to and from the hotels to the ceremony and reception site?

Answer

A shuttle will be available to take guests that are staying at the Mountain Edge Resort & Spa and the Sunapee Lake Lodge to Mount Sunapee before the ceremony and will transport guests back to the hotels after the reception.

Is there parking available for guests that will not be taking the shuttle from the hotels?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available for guests at Mount Sunapee.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer
