Is everyone staying at The OAKS rental house?

Answer

We're opening up reservations for The Oaks at Hunt Club rental house/event venue for family first. We'll gladly make space for any friends when rooms open up. The rental house has twelve bedrooms and 15 bathrooms - so we have plenty of space, but need to know your plans for housing by March 28th. Rooms will be filled on a first come basis by family and then opened up for friends to rent. The house includes: a heated saltwater pool, a pool house with bathrooms/showers, two hot tubs, a game room, a theatre room, balconies on each floor, and a back yard fire pit. Question

When are payments due for those that are staying at the rental house?

Answer

If you're planning on staying at the rental house/event venue, The Oaks, we ask that you make your initial payment by March 28th and final payment by April 14th. You are welcome to pay it all at once if that's more convenient. Please reach out to Michelle (michellelmasser @gmail.com) to make arrangements for payments.

WHAT TIME SHOULD FOLKS STAYING AT THE OAKS RENTAL HOUSE AND EVENT CENTER ARRIVE?

Answer

For everyone staying at the rental house/event venue, The Oaks, you're more than welcome to arrive at the house anytime after 5 pm to get settled into your room. We're encouraging everyone to please arrive by 7 pm on Friday, May 22nd to enjoy some light refreshments and a chance to meet everyone.

What's the plan for meals during the weekend?

Answer

We want everyone to have fun and explore the OBX without any time restraints for meals during the day. Therefore, for our family members staying at The OAKS, we'll have a really tasty selection of grab and go breakfasts and lunches available on both Saturday and Sunday. For our guests staying at The OAKS, we ask you to join us for: Saturday's dinner celebration at 6 pm. For ALL of our invited guests (friends and family) we ask everyone to join us at The Oaks for: Sunday's reception and dinner at 7 pm.

When is the Fireside S'mores & Singing?

Answer

We have an amazing group of talented musicians coming to our weekend celebration. After dinner on Saturday, we're asking all guests staying at The OAKS to gather around the backyard fire pit. Our dear friends Shane Williams and Warren Bazemore, of the band Finnegan Bell (finneganbell.com), will lead us in some great singing. We'll have plenty of chairs for everyone plus a dessert table with all the fixins' for s'mores and cast iron sandwiches. Singing begins for guests of The Oaks on Saturday night at 8 pm and lasts until 10 pm.

What is the Fireside After Party?

Answer

After our bellies are full from the wedding celebration feast on Sunday, we're inviting all invited friends and family to gather for an outdoor fireside night of fun. Our last night at the rental house will feature amazing musicians like the Dueling Davids (Junker v. Dismuke) and a special appearance by Kraig Hayhurst of Adjacent Hays. Everyone join us one last time at the backyard fire pit Sunday night at 8:30 pm for some great music.
