The best pastries! (get the chocolate almond croissant or you'll regret it) Go early or be prepared to wait in a bit of a line (worth it).

Newcomb Hollow Beach
The most accessible of Wellfleet's four ocean-side beaches. You'll be able to park there and walk down anytime without a permit (it'll be after Labor Day, so they are no longer required).
Race Point Beach
The National Park Service will likely still be collecting beach fees, but this area is wonderful to walk through. It is a good spot to watch for whales from the shore and see the old life saving station.
