Ben and Mariana feel so blessed that the Lord brought them together! She is very excited to start this new chapter of her life as Ben's wife!

Anyone that has had the pleasure of meeting Ben knows he is a servant leader, and this leadership comes with many roles. He is a devout Christian where he serves at church, a surveyor, a firefighter, a twin brother, a son, friend, and soon, he will be a husband. He loves helping everyone around him in various capacities.

Maria is Mariana's sister and closest friend. She has a heart of gold and she inspires Mariana to be a better person every day. Without a doubt, she is truly the best friend and sister I could ever ask for, and I thank God for her every day.

Cam Lowe

Best Man

You can’t have Ben without Cam tagging along. Thankfully he’s not moving in after the wedding. Cam has been my best friend since we were wombmates. We pretty much do everything together. We are planning on being next door neighbors so he’s not going far.

Kayla Callahan

Mariana and Kayla have had so many fun adventures together! Mariana has shared many of her crafty talents with her including but not limited to how to scrapbook, cook, cake decorating, painting, crocheting, and much more! Mariana constantly gives Kayla singing lessons as well. I truly love all of the great laughs and activities we have experienced together!

I’ve know Beau almost my whole life. When his family started attending Southside we quickly became best friends. Beau is a very hard worker and has a passion for serving others. Now he’s my doctor so I guess that means we are grown up? Lol it doesn’t feel that long ago we were just kids getting into trouble.

Mariana and Jenifer have been friends for many years. They have been at each other's special life moments - Mariana was a bridesmaid at Jenny's wedding back in 2020. Their friendship is based on lots of love and mutual support for each other.

Sloane Mosby

Sloane is one of my favorite cousins. Every time we got together we were getting in trouble. Of course Cam was there so that just added fuel to the fire. Even though Sloane is younger than myself by several years I still look up to him as a role model of how a father should be.

Katelyn played a key role in getting Mariana and Ben together. She invited Jenny to bible study, Jenny brought me, Ben and I met, and the rest is history! She is so sweet and such a great friend. She has a very caring and giving heart, and I have learned a lot from her over the years.

Allan and I have known each other our whole lives growing up at Southside together. It wasn’t until he moved back and started attending Southside that we grew very close. His leadership and ability to preach God’s word is something I admire about him. He’s someone I can depend on no matter what.

Vanessa Lara

Vanessa and Mariana have been friends since they were 14. They have been through High School and College together, and supported each other as they started their careers. They are each other's biggest cheerleaders.

I’ve know Evan “Lacey Peters” White my whole life. He’s been one of my closest friends all throughout school and our young adult lives. One of my earliest memories of Evan was when we played T-ball on the Colorado Rockies. Cam and I really only cared about wearing our uniforms and the free snow cone after the game. Evan on the other hand was the backbone of our team and played every position running the ball from the outfield and tagging the other player out before getting home. He’s a great example of what a father should be with his beautiful family and someone I look up to.

Aracely is always down to try something new with Mariana! They have a shared love of brunch, coffee, and new adventures! She is a true joy and brings lots of fun to Mariana's life.

I met Nick when he came to visit his brother Chris from Alabama back in 2015. He eventually moved to Houston and started attending Southside. Over the years we’ve spent time going to Dynamo games, playing co-Ed soccer, and going diving in different places around the Caribbean. He quickly became like a 2nd brother to me. He’s someone I can depend on and call if I need some extra muscles doing something too lol.

Maggie is the sweetest friend! She brings calm and peace to our group, she’s the best listener, and is always there to offer a comforting word.

I met Tye back in 2020 online playing video games. Not going to lie when I first met him he sounded old enough to be my dad. I was shocked when I found out I was older than him lol. I’m thankful that our friendship has continued to grow till this day. He’s someone I can trust to be there for me and always has my back.

Mr. Prado is Mariana's life mentor and along with being her father, he is her friend. Some of Mariana's best memories are with her dad in the many adventures they’ve had, whether it’s coaching her at her taekwondo tournaments, traveling together, or going to educator conferences. He is truly a special person to her and she owes much of who she is today to him.
