For any service needing an accurate headcount - We need you all to RSVP no later than September 4th! Come September 5th, we will be submitting our final headcount to our vendors and we will be closing our RSVPs. Please follow the RSVP tab at the top of page and submit! We do need you to RSVP regardless of whether or not you will be attending!
We are looking into catering that offer a specialty in Asian food! As many know, that is absolutely our favorite genre of food and we think it sounds delicious for our wedding dinner! If you, or someone in your party, has any ALLERGIES or RESTRICTIONS, please include that in your RSVP or contact either of us via text/email.
We are actually not doing anything as far as a wedding registry goes! We understand that times are tough, and finances can vary among households, so as long as you are present, that's all we care about! However, if you would like to bring a card, there will be a box located on our "Guest Book" table that you can leave them in.
While we hope the weather stays in the lovely 60s, the weather can shift on a dime's notice so please plan accordingly! Snow during this time of year isn't uncommon so good shoes, and layers (under your clothes) and additional jackets/coats, I would say are required. This is the better part of a "I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it" scenario.
The venue is called the Red Barn Group Site and it's located within the Golden Gate Canyon State Park in Golden, CO. The venue itself is about a half an hour drive from the town of Golden so plan ahead! There are TWO different routes that you can take, however I will provide the one we recommend via email as the other one, could be rough for small or lower vehicles.

Parking is able to accommodate up to 25 vehicles on site, however EACH vehicle will need a Colorado Park Pass to enter the park itself. These are only $10 per vehicle and can be purchased at the Visitor's Center which you will pass on the way to the venue. Additional parking is located right across the street.
We have Verizon, and we lost service about 5-10 minutes into the drive. Plan ahead, and ensure you have the directions loaded while still in service. We are renting a Starlink that will offer our guests and family access to satellite-based data so we are able to make calls and texts on our big day!
Yes, there are two compost toilets/bathrooms on-site! We visited there recently, and they were clean and well stocked HOWEVER there are a few things you need to know and some etiquette. There is no A/C or air circulation in these restrooms so PLEASE close the lid after you go to keep any smell down. Once the sun begins to set (pending if we are at the venue this long), there are also NO lights inside. We will have a table set up with lanterns and headlamps for you to use while you "go", just make sure you bring them back for others to use. Have your own lantern or headlamp? Definitely pack it with you for needs like this!
The Red Barn Group Site is equipped with overhead lighting, and outlets! This will be convenient if we are at the venue when the sun begins to set, and for those needing to charge their phones before they head back to wherever they're sleeping.
