Having just moved in next door, the Hellrung kids broke ice by kicking a basketball into my yard. I returned to favor by showing them a toad I had just found. Amanda, being the only girl of four kids, graciously accepted the offering of toady friendship. From that moment we were joined at the hip. I don't know if I could have made it into adulthood with out her by my side. She gave me my "nephew" and a reason to move back home. Soon after I met Ben.... and the love story began!
