What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional. Guests are welcome to wear tuxedos and floor-length gowns as well as suits and formal dresses. Both the ceremony and reception will be hosted in air-conditioned buildings and transportation will be provided between the hotel, ceremony, and the reception.

Is there parking at the Church and the Marriott?

Answer

There is valet parking at the Marriott. There are also numerous nearby parking garages. There is only street parking at the Church, so we suggest you park at the Marriott or a local garage. We will provide transportation between the Marriott and the Church, so we encourage you to park at the Marriott and take the provided trolley to the ceremony.

Answer

While we love your little ones, we invite parents to take the night off and leave young children at home.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We have booked trolleys to transport guests between the Marriott Old City (hotel and reception venue) and Old First United Church of Christ (the ceremony location). Trolley times will be announced soon!

Is there a vegan dinner option?

Answer

Yes! Please select the vegetarian option and indicate in the dietary restrictions field that you would like it vegan.

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to attend welcome drinks, how should I RSVP?

Answer

Welcome drinks is a casual event, so it’s OK if you don’t know if you can come! Please put down what you think for right now, and update as we get closer to the day if plans change.
