JFK Airport
JFK is the best airport to fly into if you are heading straight to Great River. If you plan to stop in NYC for a few days you can choose between JFK, Laguardia, or Newark Airport.
Travel Note
Once You've landed at JFK
Option 1- Rent a car. Renting a car from JFK is the best option. It is significantly cheaper than an Uber and the drive is just a 45 minute straight shot. Option 2- Uber. This is the most expensive but most convenient option. Option 3- The most cost effective way to get to Great River is to take the JFK Airtrain from the airport to Jamaica Station and then transfer on to the LIRR (Ronkonkoman line). Long Island Rail Road- Central Islip Station
