It was the beginning of COVID…and the start of something amazing! We connected on a dating app, chatting it up and getting to know one another. When, less than a week later, Kay suddenly lost her job due to COVID shutting it down indefinitely. Kay invited Ben over to her apartment, for what was supposed to be a one night stand… Much to both our surprise, it turned out to be so much more. We spent nine whole hours of talking, dancing in a small apartment’s living room, and sitting on a patio sharing deep conversations about goals in life and past hurts. As they say, the rest is pretty much history… We continued seeing each other and slowly but surely built the foundations of a relationship. Together we worked on our trust and communication, and challenged each other to be the best versions of ourselves. Life threw many curveballs our way, but each time we took it as an opportunity to grow together. We chose each other every day, became a safe place for each other, and supported one another through every step. Now… we have four fur babies and are excited to start the next chapter of our lives together! It is an amazing and wonderful thing to love and to be loved, and to have truly found our life partners. We cannot wait to celebrate with our loved ones!
