Walking tour of the springs
Eureka Springs contains several dozen small springs which have been preserved by the town as small little parks. Most have beautiful landscaping, scenic rock outcrops, and signs about the history of the springs and how they shaped the town.
Buffalo National River
The Buffalo National River is SPECTACULAR and one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is only 45 minutes from Eureka Springs and is well worth the drive. Big bluffs, beautiful valleys, elk, natural bridges, and more. Great places to visit include: Boxley Valley, Lost Valley, Steel Creek, Big Bluff, Alum Cove Natural Bridge, Kyles Landing, and much more.
Roaring River State Park
Wonderful state park only 25 minutes away. A beautiful deep spring issues from the base of a 150 foot-tall bluff before cascading and flowing through a deep valley surrounded by mountains. Great trout fishing and hiking trails
