Depending on what side of Melbourne you're coming from and the route you take, your road trip could be anywhere between 6-8 hours with stops. We recommend taking the Calder Highway route as it is the most direct with decent fuel and food options along the way. Some stop-over towns to consider are Bendigo, Charlton, Wycheproof and Ouyen. We would recommend road tripping as a group to share the load around, and keep car-pool karaoke vibes up!
Yes! In 45min you can get yourself from Melbourne to Mildura. Qantas and Rex fly regional planes up to Mildura Airport. The planes are small and they only do a certain amount per day, so our advice is to book well in advance. Please let us know if you plan on flying so we can help team you up with other guests for a car pool into town!
Yes! The bus will do pick-ups and drop-offs at The Setts in Mildura - great spot for a pre-wedding drink or an after party boogie. The Setts is walking distance from the Quest Apartments if your planning on staying there. Please let us know if you need a spot on the bus - they're limited so get in early!
Yes! Mildura has recently joined the rest of the modern world and now offers Ubers as well as taxis. Although, keep in mind that they don't come as quickly as those in metro areas.
Yes! If you've got a deso driver there is plenty of space to park at the gardens. Please follow directions from venue staff when you arrive.
Mildura has a range of accommodation options - caravan parks, motels, hotels, resorts or AirBnbs. If you head to the accomodation tab on our website, you'll find a 10% discount code for the Quest Hotel, which also happens to be walking distance to the bus transfer.
Having all of our favourite people celebrating together for our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. However, should you wish to help us celebrate with a gift, a contribution to our wishing well would be warmly received.
We're aiming for a formal vibe, but comfort is key - especially since our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors on grass. Gents: Suits are the way to go; ties are optional. Ladies: Think garden party chic. We trust your style instincts, but maybe rethink the stilettos. Dress to impress, but also be ready to dance and celebrate with us!
We adore your little ones, but our reception will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of breastfeeding babies. We appreciate your understanding!
